It is with great pleasure to announce the appointment of Mr. Bandula J. Hennadige as Executive Director of South Asia partnership Sri Lanka with effect from 01 January 2019.
Before joining the SAPSRI, Mr. Hennadige was the Project Director for RTU-NF (Reaching the Unreached Estates and Surrounding Communities on Equitable Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH) for Improved Health and Nutrition Project) funded by the European Union.
Earlier in his career Mr. Hennadige worked as a Senior Programme Officer in the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (1999-2011) and has held positions in the Government of Sri Lanka i.e Project Director- GTZ funded Regional Rural Development Project in Kandy, Project Director- IFAD/SIDA/UNDP funded Integrated Rural Development Project in Badulla, Deputy Director-
He is an ex member of the SLPC and holds a B. Com (Hon.) from the University of Preadeniya and M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Wales, the United Kingdom.
