In the field

There are a number of opportunities for volunteers to support our vital work in the field. For example, if you are a businessperson, you could get involved in training rural women in entrepreneurship.  We are particularly looking for people with skills in the following areas:
• Small and medium enterprise
• Traditional crafts

You could give your time to help raise money for SAPSRI. Some fundraising ideas include:
• Organise an event, such as a dinner, Sri Lankan music performance, picnic or cricket tournament.
• Take part in a marathon or cycling event and get your friends and colleagues to sponsor you.
• Consider asking friends and family to donate on your behalf for a birthday, graduation or other special occasion.
If you have an idea, please let us know. We may be able to help you with organising and promoting your event. Your fundraising efforts are inspiring to other people. Please tell us about your event and send us your photos. To share your stories or get more information about fundraising please contact us on 00 94 11 5353479 or at sapsri@slt.net.
