This ground-breaking housing project is helping urban communities in need.

Kalmunai tsunami recovery project

We helped hundreds of tsunami-affected people living in northern Ampara District rebuild their lives.

Local capacity and community restoration

We worked with over 2,000 coir producers to re-establish the coir industry in Sri Lanka’s southern coastal belt.

Transferring traditional beeralu lace-making skills

We helped 200 lace makers from Mirissa rebuild their livelihoods after the tsunami. Now we are training the younger generation in this craft.
